From here you can find a set of booklets that were written by my friend, the renowned local historian, and expert on all things Victorian: David Moore. In writing some he was joined by Anthony Cantwell MA, Peter Cobb, Garry Mitchell, and Peter Sprack.
David maintained these booklets, updating them as new information came to light until he sadly died in 2022.
